龙脊景区属亚热带季风区，受冷暖空气交替影响，四季分明，雨量充沛，有机物含量高，日照短，温差大，终年流水潺潺，云雾缭绕，无任何污染，是形成高山云雾香茶的理想之地。龙脊群众栽种的高杆云雾茶，因品质一流，乾隆年间曾指定为贡品，据《中国茶学辞典》记载，龙脊云雾茶为中国二十八大名茶之一。近年来，龙脊云雾茶畅销各地，龙脊云雾茶茶客高兴的唱道：龙脊茶叶长云天，香飘缭绕华夏间，品后方知乾坤大，洗净今古春不眠。

   Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area has a subtropical climate with well-marked seasons and plenty of rainfall. It is great different in temperature during day and night. The non-pollution area is an ideal environment for tea to grow. It’s recorded that Longji tea is one of the most famous tea. It was the offering to the emperors during Qianlong King because of its good taste. Recent years, Longji tea is sold home and abroad.
